My thoughts on the overtly deceptive provisions implications of the U.S. National Defense Authorization Act:

Sadly, the National Defense Authorization Act, along with its many overtly deceptive provisions & implications, is just another shrewd wayward way of making the United States an even more totalitarian state, no different than the likes of the Roman Empire, the Soviet Union, or Nazi-Germany. The very nature of this document, allowing martial-law to essentially come & go as it pleases, to interfere with the regular designated rule of law reserved for by law-making bodies of this nation, like State Assemblies & the U.S. Congress, thereby denying persons whom are deemed criminal, with proper legal representation, outlandish & unconstitutional/illegal detainment for crimes based upon baseless evidences, and denial of due-process/trial-by-jury, as a result of being red-flagged as a “threat to National-Security”.

Ever since the McCarthy-Era in the United States, ruthless tactics have been used, to thwart any form of legitimate opposition to governmental corruption in this land & those whom have been at the forefronts of true justice have been labelled as “Communists”, “Extremists”, “Fundamentalists”, “Fanatics”, “Terrorists”, etc. Meanwhile, the U.S. has committed some of the greatest domestic & global atrocities against the citizens of the world, from state-sponsored-racism, from the inception of this nation to the present, the bombing, of the two civilian cities of Hiroshima & Nagasaki (and by the way, the U.S. is still the only nation to-date, that has ever used nuclear weapons in a military conflict), the violations of the Geneva-Convention in during the Vietnam-War, using Agent-Orange & Napalm, not only against the North Vietnamese, but also against the nation of Cambodia.

Let’s not also forget this bullshit “War-on-Drugs” & “War-on-Terror”, which the U.S. actually benefits from if/when they’re perpetuated & the best example of this fact is a previous article that I’ve written, named “If Anwar Al-Awlaki were Oliver North, he’d still be alive & chillin’!!!”:

It has been made very obvious for any one who has dared to pay attention to the last decade, that this United States is on a dangerous path of destruction & if something serious & meaningful is done to prevent these corrupt politicians & financiers of governments, who are clearly bankrolling sadistic Anti-Christ/Freemasonic like agendas, which are not in the best interest of Americans or any others who fall under the global 90%, they have the nerve to crack-down on undesirables & place people in military prison-camps. These are just some of the unfortunately countless examples of how merciless the U.S. has & can be, not only against its fellow citizens but also against the rest of the world.

I’ll end with the words of U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings, whom when interviewed by Michael Moore, in the documentary, “Capitalism: A Love Story”, had this to say about his own country, the United States of America, in light of the sinisterly orchestrated financial-collapse, which gave even more practical power to Wall St. & further achieved to strip the U.S. Congress of it’s constitutionally endowed powers , “This whole fiasco, shows you that there are some forces…that are in control…big-time!!!”

My thoughts on Kim Jong-il & the future of North Korea:

The recent death of one of the most controversial leaders of the 20th century has been confirmed. Kim Jong-il, the 40-year iron-hand ruler of North Korea has left a legacy of criticism which will long out last most of our lifetimes. He has been often ridiculed as being one of the leaders of the "Axis of Evil", he's been the brunt of many entertainment political spoofs on both T.V. & in movies.

However, when you look at this man's life in context, you can somewhat appreciate his drive to be the sole influence of his nation, ruling by his own rules, something that most world-leaders have not been able to do, nor had the balls to even attempt to do within the last century. Even though North Korea's greatest political and financial ally, China, had very frequently tried to place its reins upon Kim's administration, for "rockin'-the-boat" sort-of-speak on the international stage, pertaining to Kim's insatiable quest for an established nuclear arsenal, you must admit, he's nobody's puppet. The aid that China has & is still currently giving North Korea has in no way convinced North Korea to back down from its staunch position to acquire nuclear equal-footing with other nuclear-nations.

He definitely knew how to play the great-game, and he always came out as a winner. As far back as the Clinton years, Kim was a master political chess-player, buying time to stall & manipulate diplomatic visits from the U.S. in particular, with concerns about his provocative nuclear weapons programs, which would obviously translate as trouble for the rest of America's Asian interests & allies.

Even when Bush, Jr. was in office as Commander-in-Chief of the U.S., he managed to play with the Bush administration like a Tonka toy. In light of the recently-ended Iraq-War, Kim used this opportunity to go to the highest gear & stepped on the gas, to intensify the pursuit of nuclear establishment, with virually no definitive international opposition, other than trade & aid sanctions, which did not hurt Kim but rather the people of North Korea.

Even at the brink of his nation being starved-out, as a result of famines, financial-failure, as a result of no economic-growth, and the whole world demonizing him & his policies, Kim still managed to come out on-top, with his nuclear program in-tact, along with six confirmed nuclear war-heads, and still, the fifth largest military in the world, at 1 Million strong to-boot.

The death of Kim has placed a lot of suspicions in the air, as to whether North Korea can still sustain itself, without it's most dynamic, powerful leader to date. Kim's son, Kim Jong-un is the most likely to take the reins of leadership. However, even so, does his son, if he were to succeed him, have what it takes to withstand the onslaught of political & economic isolation, along with constant fear of potential attack both militarily by his Asian neighbors and/or international opponents? none of this is known to us.

All & all, Kim Jong-il was, in fact, a political giant-For better or worse, love him or hate him, he was a dominant presence as well as a prolific figure in the modern-politics of our times.

What “Change” has there really been in America?!!!

Since we are approaching the last official year of the 1st. presidential term of Barack Obama, one has to honestly reflect upon how his presidency has affected this country & the world. We cannot just get caught up in the nostalgia of “He’s the first Black President, woo hoo!!!”. We must critically think about what policies that he’s supported & carried out as the Chief Executive of the United States, during his nearly four-year tenure of what could potentially be his only term as the leader of the “Free-World”.

No, it’s not time to break out the worn out Obama hats, shirts, bumper stickers, etc. labelled “Yes, We Can”, or “Change We Can Believe In”. It is truly time for reflection as to whether the U.S. is truly a better country since this man’s been a President. For this reflection, I’ll be taking the liberty of mentioning several happenings throughout the current tenure of this U.S. President & I’ll let you decide has “Change” that this man had promised for this country truly come.

Hate crimes:

Dec. 10th, 2010:

A twenty-seven year old Black man, by the name of Frederick Jermaine Carter, was found hanging to a tree, in Greenwood, Miss. The Obama administration has yet to even acknowledge the event taking place, and there was no mention of a Federal investigation of this case (ironically enough, Greenwood is a mere 10 miles away from Money, Miss., where Emmett Till, a 14-year-old Black youth, was tortured and murdered by racist whites, exactly 50 years after the Emmet Til tragedy)-This case was just swept under the rug, by Leflore County Sheriff Ricky Banks, along with the county coroner, declaring Carter’s death a “Suicide”, as a result of him having a history of “Mental-Illness”.

Now, for you & I, who possess basic-intelligence, here’s some serious questions for us to sincerely ask ourselves: When is the last time that a legitimately mentally-ill person used a tree to assist them in a “Suicide”?!!! (Never); when is the the last time that Black man used a tree to assist him in a “Suicide”?!!! (Never!!!); also, how is the man going to “hang himself”, when he was found tied/bounded to the actual tree that he “hanged himself” from?!!! (Impossible!!!).

Now, just by virtue of the fact that there’s a Black man in the White House is justification enough to have had this case world-wide news; however, sadly, it was just another important issue that was kept under cover, for fear that people would truly realize that having a Black man as a President doesn’t secure shit for Black people, those who came out in droves to vote for this man, really believing that he was their savior-If a White man, or any group of Non-Black individuals would’ve done the same to one of them, this case would’ve been treated the same exact way, especially if they weren’t of any type of known, significant status in our society.

The economy:

It’s not that the Federal bailouts given to the Wall Street titans were bad enough, but to add insult-to-injury, they’ve grown more wealthy & powerful during the Obama years, thus far-According to a report, by Zachary Goldfarb, of the Washington Post:

• Wall Street firms — independent companies and the securities-trading arms of banks — are doing even better. They earned more in the first 2 1/2 years of the Obama administration than they did during the eight years of the George W. Bush administration, industry data show. [...]

• The largest banks, including Bank of America, Citigroup and Wells Fargo, earned $34 billion in profit in the first half of the year, nearly matching what they earned in the same period in 2007 and more than in the same period of any other year.
• Securities firms — the trading arms of big banks and hundreds of other independent firms — have fared even better. They’ve generated at least $83 billion in profit during the past 2 1/2 years, compared with $77 billion during the entire Bush administration, according to data from the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association.

International relations:

As recent as this year, Anwar Al-Awlaki, a Muslim, as well as a U.S.-citizen, was violently blown to bits, by a CIA-controlled drone-missile attack in Yemen. What still puzzles me, till this very day, is the simple fact that none of the actual charges of “terrorist-activity” against this man was even established, until after he conveniently out of the country, relocated to Yemen, even though he was continually probed by the Feds for at least 5 years before he even left the U.S. to spend the rest of his life in Yemen-Ironically the charges that he had actually gotten arrested for & then released while in the U.S. had absolutely nothing to do with “terrorist-activity”. This is something really difficult to wrap my head around: Anwar Al-Awlaki was accused of being the chief recruitment figure for Al-Qaeda in America, yet you wait until the man leaves the U.S. to go to Yemen to do something about it?!!! What sense does this all make?!!! (None).

He was denied his right as a Human being & a U.S.-citizen to have his day in court/any court, via due-process, even though his historical counterpart, Oliver North, the most corrupt U.S. Military official on record, who aided known terrorist-groups, by supplying them with money gins, in exchanges for drugs to be smuggled into the U.S. during the 1980′s, infamously known as the Iran-Contra Affair, did more than Al-Awlaki was even accused of. Yet, North was eventually acquitted of all 16 counts of Federal felonies thrown at him, received an official Presidential-Pardon, and retired with full rank & pension as a Lt. Colonel of the U.S. Marines (check out my article on www.garethbryant.wordpress.com titled, “If Anwar Al-Awlaki were Oliver North, he’d still be alive & chillin’” for more info. about the Iran-Contra Affair). Then, there’s Somalia, the mythical land of African Al-Qaeda & pirates, even though, unlike the Taliban, Saddam, and Qaddafi, As-Shabab have not been ousted (check out my article on my blog, www.garethbryant.wordpress.com titled, “Somalia [The Anatomy of a Tragedy]” to find out why).

These are just a few of the countless examples of how the mythos of Barack Obama has continually become a political epic-fail, and has been able to keep the American people deaf, dumb & blind. It’s very obvious to me, and should be just as obvious to you all, that Obama being a President, the first Black President, or what ever posthumous title that you’d wish to refer to him by, has not changed any of the business-as-usual policies well-established in this nation.

In short, “Ain’t shit change, except da number after da dot, on da Range (Rover).”

Somalia's & Haiti’s incredible plight:

Scorched earth, as a result of no rain; its people have no food and have forfeited their pride.

Ongoing drought & famine has crippled an entire generation, the world just turns a blind-eye.

Murder has been made the order of the day, no one is ever secure, no such thing as a safe space.

Astronomical and unchallenged atrocities committed there has been accepted, it is common place.

Lies told by our government that Ash-Shabab took over; well, why have they not been ousted?

It’s ironic how they’ve managed to keep power, yet Saddam, Qaddafi & the Taliban were routed.

Apparently, the U.S. has been too busy, with sending troops to secure the poppy & oil fields.

Historially known to be rebellious, a band of slaves, they defeated the British, Spanish, and French.

America & Europe enacted sanctions, choking its people just like nuts & bolts choked by a wrench.

Immersed in an abyss of poverty, while the country is continually exploited beyond imagination.

This island has always been given the raw deal, and people wonder why it is such a torn nation.

My thoughts on U.S. political sex-scandals:

Very recently, there's been a whole lot of hoopla about Herman Cain's alleged sexual-inappropriateness, which he now has to answer for. However, he's thus denied any & all accounts of sexual-misconduct. But, enough about that, let's get to the nitty-gritty of this issue & and that is this:

People are becoming less concerned with a person's moral-character, and more concerned with how a politician functions in office. Well, having considerable moral-character should/would in fact reflect in the policies that a person in the highest political office in the U.S. supports & executes, I would assume naturally.

Yet, morality is something that the U.S., along with our general global society is losing more & more by the day. You can go back as far as Thomas Jefferson, whom authored the Declaration of Independence, who was a known womanizer, and fathered several children out of wedlock with his slave, Sally Hemings. This was in fact acceptable, because at this time in American history, African slaves weren't even regarded as complete Human beings. We can also look into the 1960's, where President John F. Kennedy outlandishly cheated on his wife, in public at that, with no discretion what so ever on his part.

We can also reflect upon even the life of the Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, whose sexscapades have become a legendary testament of how sexual-corruption has left a permanent stain on all levels of the U.S. Federal government. Then, possibly the most famous of them all is Bill Clinton, who initially denied any & all allegations that he had any sexual-contact with Monica Lewinski. But, as a result of being placed under the threat being prosecuted for purgery, as well as Presidential-Impeachment, finally fessed up to not only having an official relationship with her, about also to receiving the most famous blowjob in the U.S. of U.S. politics. And, then, we all remember the recent revelations of former U.S. Senator John Edwards, who ran for President in 2004 & ended up being John Kerry's running mate against George W. Bush, then again in 2008, which he ended up having to bow-out of the Presidential race, cheated on his cancer-stricken wife, while actually running for President.

Next, even more recent, we have the infidelity fiascoes that have brought down former Governors James McGreevey of New Jersey & Elliot Spitzer of New York. And, then, not too long ago, there was Anthony Weiner, who just couldn't keep his wiener off of the internet, who completely embarrassed himself, and his family, and for what?!!! Now, as recent as this year, we have an aspiring contender for the seat in the Oval Office, caught up in a sex-scandal. Herman Cain, presumably, the Barack Obama of the Republican Party, has just been red-flagged amid recent allegations of sexual-misconduct. I don't know whether something like this will ruin his chance of going toe-to-toe with Obama, for the 2012 election, but it still looks really bad-Please, keep in mind that these guys who've been caught up in these scandals are not just some run of the mill politicians here, these are big-leaguers, whom have enacted & supported relevant governmental policies in their respective realms of public service, which have affected & still affects our lives as U.S. citizens.

I have the following to ask all of you: If you have individuals, like these politicians, who have been implicated/involved in various sex-scandals and/or confirmed to play significant parts in these scandals, willingly betraying their respective spouses & then lying about their wrongs when called to task for honesty, then what should make us, as U.S. citizens, think that that these same politicians would be loyal to us, as their political constituents, as we place our general trust in them to conduct honest affairs of state-How can these people be trusted with the general welfare of this nation, when they can't even keep their penises in their pants?!!!

Think about this, people!!!

Washington's plight (The dilema that is the National-Debt):

This whole mad scramble for cash, by the U.S. government should make the American people ponder deeply about the severe condition of our national economy, as well as how we're being viewed in the world right now, as a sinking ship. However, one thing that has not been pondered over is this: have any of these blue-chip companies (like Goldman Sachs, or Citigroup, for example), who've received billions of dollars from Washington, to keep their businesses afloat, ever volunteered to help get the U.S. out of her estimated $14Trillion debt to other countries, businesses, private investors, etc.?

The answer should'nt surprise any of us, the answer is hell no!!! To be honest, why should they bail the U.S. out? I mean, it's not their fault that the U.S. Congress is so enthralled to the whims of big-business, via campaign, and lobbyists monetary purse-strings, that keep them in Congressional positions for so many years, while they allow Wall Street to screw Main Street, with no vaseline.

Washington very graciously, based upon the power of fear that our economy would surely collapse had these big companies not received bailout money, gave Wall Street the keys to the vault of the U.S. Treasury, and allowed Wall Street to rob the American people out of $700Billion that they didn't deserve anyway, because they're supposed to be able to get themselves out of the mess that they made. And, come to find out, these companies gave their top executives annual bonuses, purchased private jets, sponsored lavish events, all in the name of getting away with highway robbery, at the expense of the American people, as well as the current expense of our national economy. But, the incredible irony is the following: our national economy is still out of wack & on the brink of failure-So what good did all of these Federal bailouts, to all of these companies do anyway?

We could really use that extra $700Billion, which was shelled-out to Wall Street, right about now. But, where do you think this is going to come from? Not the blue-chip conglomerates, not from the Fortune 500 companies, not even from the banking & investment sectors, which owe their current survival to U.S. bailouts. No.....it's all goin' to be comin' from the pockets of the American people.....again.....as usual.....as always.

The U.S. Congress has recently managed to pass a bill, which was signed by President Obama, to raise the U.S. debt-ceiling higher, in order to prevent a national financial default, which would officially make the U.S. bankrupt. But, still, how is Washington supposed to solve their ever-evolving problem, of spending what they don't have to spend?!!! Also, how is Washington planning to diminish its trillion-dollar debt, providing that this debt-ceiling can even be raised any further? Now that our government is on the brink of national bankruptcy, where should Washington go, to get its share of bailout funds? Who is going to bailout the U.S.?!!! Will it be all of these private institutions, whose base of operations are in the U.S.? Or, will it be all of those third-world countries, who receive billions of U.S. monetary foreign aid? Or, could it be the IMF? Hey.....at the rate that things are going in the U.S. right now, it's not a bad option, if the opportunity presents itself!!!

That is, in fact, the $14Trillion question: who's gonna take on this massive task of ensuring that our national economy doesn't go belly-up?!!! The entire world still has Washington under a microscope right now-From Obama trying to get re-elected as President, while still having to deal a shabby American economy & two war fronts (which did not end with the announcement of Bin-Ladin's death, which is the whole reason why thousands of U.S. troops & billions of dollars worth of weaponry were used in both Afghanistan & Iraq, to seek out terrorists-cells & WMD's, right?), the stalemate decisions about raising the debt-ceiling in the first place (which had initially gone nowhere fast in both the chambers of the House of Representatives & the House of the Senate, previous to this very recent bill that has been passed to raise it), to the walk-out by Rep. Boehner & his personal tug-of-war/cat-fight between himself & President Obama about the whole debt-ceiling issue-This whole financial mess has been just like a typical cheesy soap opera, but with trillions of cash on the line.

What makes this situation worse, on an international scale, is that other countries who are in competition with the U.S. (like China or India for example), could not only loose confidence in investing in the U.S. economy, but, could also use this potential tragedy for the U.S. as an opportunity, to make themselves the next top-dog economic superpower, which would obviously change the entire global economic & political landscape of the world. These are truly trying times for Washington, and the U.S. Congress had better get things together, before things get a lot worse.

Gareth Bryant's Top-Five reasons why there will never be a Palestinian state:

1. The Palestinian people, the Muslim Palestinians anyway, have not made the issue of Palestine a religious issue-They've only made this an ethno-national issue, while forgetting that Palestine is the long lost sector of the Muslim-World. So, like any & every part of the Muslim-World, it belongs to all of the Muslims, not just some, just like how Makkah, Madinah, and Jerusalem are not at all the properties of the respective countries that hold present jurisdiction over these sacred religious-sites, rather in truth, they are the properties of the Muslim-World. But, very few, if any Muslim Palestinians, Muslim Arabs, or Muslims in general, view the issue of Palestine in this way at all.

This is based upon a statement from the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him), when he said,  "The Muslims share three things: Water, Fire and Land.". This refers to any and all places where the Islamic-State has ruled/formerly ruled, places where there is a modern government which is presently run either mainly or totally by other Muslims, as well as any & all natural resources available in these respective places, by religious default, all of this, are the global properties of the Muslims. But, unfortunately, again, most Muslims just don't get it.

2. The Western-World really doesn't want the Muslim-World to reunite, under any circumstances, which would by default tamper with the geo-political/financial dominance & interests of the Western-World, in the Muslim-World, particularly the Arab-World-The main reason why the United Nations even allowed the State of Israel to exist in the first place was to serve as a satellite-nation, to monitor & keep the rest of its Muslim/Arab neighbors under military pressure, which has worked significantly over the past six decades. And, the Western-World is not just going to give up its most prized satellite-nation, Israel, for the sake of giving justice to the Palestinian people.

3. The Muslim leaders in the Muslim-World/Arab-World are to greedy for wealth, power, position, influence on the world's political stage, etc., to concern themselves with the needs of their fellow Muslims, who have been oppressed for the past six decades, which actually stem from the ancestors of the modern leaders of the Muslim-World/Arab-World revolting & helping to topple the Ottoman Empire, the last official globally recognized ruling body of the Muslim-World to date, which no one wants to really talk about. This is how the Western-World was able to get the Muslim Arabs to revolt against the Turks in the beginning, via the promise of autonomous self-rule.

But, in actuality, they've become geo-political boy-toys to the Western-World, so because the Western-World has so much dirt on them, it's like they can't really stand up against the tyranny of the State of Israel & the Western-World, without first admitting to the fact that they are, in fact, majorly responsible for the formation of the State of Israel via rebellion against the Ottoman Empire, which had control over Palestine at the time of World War I-Of course, after their defeat in World War I, one of the conditions of surrender was that the Ottoman Empire forfeit all former territories, outside of modern-day Turkey, to the Allied Powers, which of course included Palestine.

4. If a Palestinian state were in fact established, they would have a lot of bones to pick with a lot of nations, like their Muslim/Arab neighbors, who basically left them hanging for damn near a century, while they've been systematically displaced, oppressed, marginalized, and made into the most popular group of refugees in Human history.

Somalia (The Anatomy of a Tragedy):

I shouldn't have to reiterate what's gruesomely obvious, but it seems that I must: significantly large populations of people, living in four countries in the Horn of Africa: Ethiopia, Djibouti, Eritrea, Somalia, are currently facing one of the most devastating famines ever seen in recent memory & possibly in the entire history of the African continent itself. One country particularly, Somalia, has the most to lose as a result of this famine getting worse. Somalia has indeed suffered the most in the Horn of Africa region from this terrible famine, for several reasons: the lack of U.N. relief aid getting into Somalia, the severe the lack of accessibility into this country (making it basically impossible for on-the-ground assessments, as to who needs the most help in Somalia, so relief aid can reach the proper places & people in the first place), the result of over twenty years worth of carnage, murder, political imbalance (which has ruined the political and financial infrastructure of this entire country, making Somalia completely unable to deal with the severity of this famine on their own). Ever since 1991, the Somali people have been given not only the short end of the stick, but, they haven't even been given a stick to hold on to, for any potential hope to come their way. Unfortunately, they are the perpetual victims & subjects of massive abuse, externally by the international-community, as well as internally, by even their own people. The Somali warlords, ruling with iron fists & fear, who control food, water, life & death, etc., preside over autonomous pocket-sections all over of this nation, as if they were like the notorious mafia chieftains, who ruled America, during the prohibition-era.

One of the most tragic realities of this whole affair is that since Somalia hasn't had a stable central government in two decades, this has given these ruthless, tribal-warlords a free-hand, to rob, rape & pillage their own people, without any form of accountability. And, because of this unchecked oppression, Somalis are left with little options for survival, because quite frankly, no one seems to care. I mean, there hasn't been a great international out cry at any U.N. general assemblies that I've heard of as of recent, or any move to rid the nation of Somalia of its tyrannical warlords. In Iraq, all you had to say was "WMD's", and the U.S., along with her "gong-ho" coalition forces were right there on the scene, like they were the members of Marvel Comic's "The Avengers", or D.C. Comic's "The Justice League". In the early 1980's, during the Reagan-Administration, the moment that the U.S. got wind of Socialist/Communist influence expanding beyond Cuba & into Central America, particularly in the republic of Nicaragua, the U.S. gladly gave support, via military/intelligence, arms and money to the Contras (who would in our modern political context be classified as "terrorists-groups"), to do battle against the pro-Socialist/Communist Sandinista government.

I just wonder.....with all the U.S. & U.N. confirmations of "terrorists-cells" & "terrorists-groups", loyal to "Al-Qaeda", having swept threw Somalia, with their authority virtually unchallenged by the Democratic/Western-world.....why hasn't there been a great move to relieve Somalia of its warlords & to help bring stability to this 20-year long war-torn nation?!!!

Is it because the U.S. is still sour about that ass-whippin' that the U.S. Military was served, early on during the Clinton-Administration in the early 1990's, by Somali rebel forces.....could be. Or, maybe, it's because the whole "Al-Qaeda in Africa" story (which is just as much a sham as the whole "WMD" fantasy in Iraq) is an excuse needed to not go the extra-mile, to help these people-Like in the case of Rwanda: a million people were slaughtered within three months, while the "civilized-world" just sat back, and enjoyed the show, like it was a cool made-for-T.V. "Movie of the Week".....probably.

Or, last but not least, it may just stem from the old colonial mentality of not wanting former prized colonial possessions of the "Dark-Continent" to rise and be economically & politically independent nations, to be forces-to-be-reckoned-with in the world, because the former colonial masters of Africa would no longer be able to further rape its land and/or its people of their innumerable resources.....yeah, I think this is the reason.

But, whatever the reason, the excuses for not giving the Somalis, or any other country help in times of crises like this are pathetic, despicable, and are no longer acceptable, and in truth, they were really never acceptable to begin with.

There a lot of other people here to blame for the tragedy that is Somalia's current plight. I mainly blame the Muslim-World itself. From an Islamic perspective, these oil-rich Muslim/Arab royal families & kingdoms have enough wealth in their individual & national coffers, to rid not just Somalia, not just the Horn of Africa, not just Africa, not just the rest of the Muslim-World, but the entire globe of starvation. In fact, it's their inherent religious obligation to do so, just because they have more, while others have less.

But, why has hunger still remained an undisputed champion in our lifetimes, in a world of unprecedented human wealth & possession-There's plenty for all, but it seems that no one wants to share, because they just don't care.

If Anwar Al-Awlaki were Oliver North, he'd still be alive & chillin'!!!

Recently, a popular Muslim Cleric/Lecturer, who was also an American citizen, Anwar Al-Awlaki was murdered, via a C.I.A. operated spy-drone plane's missile, without due process of law, without confirmation of any direct acts of terror or treason against the U.S. Yet, it was made justifiable to make an example of him, to tell the world that the U.S. doesn't mind punking & murdering its own citizens, in order to perpetuate a lie that started on 9/11. For educational purposes, I'll take the liberty of comparing the lives & careers of both Anwar Al-Awalki & Oliver North respectively, just for you who are reading this to get a clear picture of how hypocritical the United States of America really is.

Anwar Al-Awlaki:

The short intro.-

Anwar Al-Awlaki was a U.S. citizen of Arab/Yemeni descent, who lived primarily in the United States, was an academic in the fields of  Civil-Engineering, and Education-Leadership, earning a B.S. degree in the former, from Colorado State University & an M.A. degree in the latter, from the University of San Diego. In addition, he was very well-versed in Islamic-Sciences, despite not having an extensive formal Islamic religious education, and served as a religious leader/advisor at several mosques in the U.S. before permanently relocating to Yemen, as well as several successful & popular audio lecture serials on various Islamic topics & subject to boot.

Now, on to the gritty stuff-

He did in fact have some far-right/extreme religious views, which ended up surfacing later on in his life through many of his teachings. But, this didn't in any way, mean that he personally or actively participated in any confirmed act of terror, either against civilians of any nation, or military personnel of any nation or coalition. Up until his recent death, the U.S. kept the opinion, though unfounded, that Anwar Al-Awlaki was an active Al-Qaeda operative & recruiter in both the U.S. and in the Arabian-Peninsula. Now, to be honest, he did in fact put himself out there in a lot of respects, and placed himself in unnecessary situations & conditions. But, this doesn't make him an active terrorist. And, in addition to the shady ways that the U.S. government classified Anwar Al-Awlaki, it would've made a lot more sense to either question, indict, or even detain him for his alleged terrorist activities and/or terrorist recruitment. But, while in the U.S., he was never officially charged with any such crime, nor questioned, arrested, indicted, arraigned, prosecuted or convicted for anything even remotely related to terror or terrorism. In fact, the only known jail time that he had ever served was in Yemen.

Oliver North:

The short intro.-

Oliver Laurence North, like Anwar Al-Awlaki, was born & raised in the U.S., is a forty-year military veteran, of the U.S. Marine Corps., attaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, with military awards ranging from a Silver & Bronze Star, to a Purple Heart Medal, twice received, during his military tours during the Vietnam War. He was also a commanding officer & strategist, during the hunt for the assailants responsible for the Beirut bombings in Lebanon as well as the U.S.-led invasion of Grenada, in the 1980's.

Now, on to the gritty stuff-

His main claim to fame, or infamy to be more accurate was the fact that he was officially indicted by a Congressional committee, of 16 separate Federal felonies, regarding his direct involvement in the infamous Iran-Contra Affair. The Iran-Contra Affair was one of the greatest examples of intelligence, military, diplomatic & political corruption in the history of the United States.

This is basically what happened in regards to the Iran Contra Affair:

North, being a high-ranking military man, having connections to every major U.S. military branch, intelligence agency, and also in the U.S. Congress & the White House, was able to use his influence via his important military position, to commit open treason against the people of the United States & our government. Basically, at that time, Iran was just recently considered a rogue state, as a result of the Islamic-Revolution that took place during the late seventies, coupled with the fact that nearly a hundred U.S. citizens were held for ransom against their will while in Iran, during the waning months of the Carter Presidential administration, also in that same decade.

So, Ollie got the bright idea to not only openly deal with a known, newly declared rogue state, that took U.S. citizens as hostages,  but, he also chose to deal with a group of known terrorists, commonly known as the Contras. The Contras were then in bloody opposition against the legitimate government of Nicaragua of that time, the Sandinistas. However, because the Sandinistas were Pro-Communists, Oliver North decided that the best way to deal with rogue states in the Mid-East & terrorists groups in Central America was to make business deals with them, of course, all in the good name of spread freedom, justice, equality, and Democracy throughout the world, via deception, usurpation, and backroom cut-throat dirty arms & drug deals.

So, here's where it really gets good:

Oliver North began smuggling arms to several terrorists groups, with ties to Iran, in Lebanon (keep in mind that the U.S. has always held an official policy since like forever which states the following, "We don't negotiate with Terrorists" & I've heard that in movies & real-life for as long as I could possibly remember), in exchange for U.S. nationals, captured in the Mid-East. But, it didn't stop there, check this out: On the other side of the world, deep down in Central America, there was another thing going on, the U.S. deliberately turned a blind-eye & allowed the Contras, who eventually ousted the legitimate government of the Sandinistas, to traffick drugs (Cocaine to be more accurate & specific), with the exclusive permission & transportation support of the U.S. military, under direct supervision of Ollie North, which he later admitted while being questioned at his own Congressional hearings in D.C. after he was busted and exposed publicly) into the United States itself, which by default helped fuel our already drug-dependent economy during the 1980's, which resulted in the largest mass use of Cocaine & Crack-Cocaine drug-dealing in the history of our nation, which has contributed to countless acts of street/gang violence, drug-addition, and basically represented one of the perfect examples of domestic-terrorism ever. The U.S. purposely gave corrupt CIA/U.S. military personnel the green-light to very graciously supply drug dealing thugs across our nation, via the narcotic connections established with the Contras in Central America, with lethal/life-destroying narcotics, for personal profit, contributing to domestic chemical-warfare against their fellow citizens of the U.S. (just in case you didn't know or realize, drugs/narcotics are in fact chemically-based & are therefore chemicals by definition, also, the affects that are caused by consuming these drugs/narcotics casually has many dangerous/life-threatening/fatal results).

How does all of this fit together, concerning Al-Awlaki & North?

Great question, now here's the answer: Al-Awlaki just happened to be a Muslim, with a few radical ideas, and he was automatically considered fair-game to kill although there were never any established proofs against him, nor was he allowed his day in court, the right of any U.S. citizen. Hell, even John Walker-Lindh was at least extradited to U.S. custody. Meanwhile, someone like North, who was one of the top players of this corruption food-chain, known as the Iran-Contra Affair, was not only given a bullshit sentence, but was eventually vacated of all charges against him, received an officially Presidential pardon, retired from the U.S. Armed forces without court-martial & with full honors, rank & pension, got his own television show, when I was a lil' kid during the 1980's naturally named "War Stories With Oliver North" (I actually remember watching this damned show). And, to date, this guy is a regular commentator/reporter for FOX News.

Now, what does all of these really mean?

Well I could tell you, but I'd really let you use your own intellect, integrity, and objectivity to decide for yourselves what this means. I'm willing to leave this post the way that it is. What I would appreciate greatly though is for anyone and/or everyone who so chooses to read this be very object, simply look at the facts that I've presented, and decide for yourselves what all of this means.

Disposable-Rulers:

Oct. 20th, 2011, the world-wide announcement of the death of the Dictator of Libya, Muammar al-Gaddafi was made. He had been on the run, in his own country, for the past few months, fighting a no-win civil-war with U.S./U.N.-supported rebel forces, made up of his own fellow countrymen. The reason why I'm bringing this up is because there's a very definitive pattern of the United States hunting down and/or killing, or assisting in hunting down and/or killing world leaders, from other countries; also, there's a definitive pattern of the United States supporting the deposition of regimes & governments, that do not go along with the presumed game-plan of the United States, so that the U.S. can further spread its geo-political/financial influence and benefit from whatever natural resources that they can get their hands on.

For educational purposes, I'll take the liberty of mentioning both leaders & nations who were subjugated to the dominance of the U.S., whenever they felt the need to remove certain leaders and/or regimes from power-This is gonna be an historically chronological list by the way:

1. Hawaii-

Leader (Kingdom/Republic): Queen Lili'uokalani (Kingdom of Hawaii)

Date of deposition: 1893

Historical backdrop of deposition:

This is very simple: The U.S. at this time was fresh off of the conquest of the rest of what is now the continental U.S., via the Indian-Wars. Plus, the U.S. began annexing territories of the Spanish Crown, during the Spanish-American War hand-over-fist. So, since the U.S. had already taken the Philippines from the Spanish, and added them to the arsenal of U.S. colonies in, both Latin America & the Pacific, I guess they decided that it was okay to punk the relatively peaceful island kingdom of the Hawaiian Islands. So, this is basically how it went: a lot of U.S. citizens & Europeans were property owners and landowners in the Hawaiian Islands, with strong political & financial ties to both American & European elite political & financial machines; and, of course, like anywhere & everywhere that they went, the Europeans Americans got mad greedy & wanted to control every damn thing. By the way, this upheaval was directly co-signed & approved by the U.S., in addition to aiding these U.S. rebels in Hawaii by sending U.S. Marines, which led to militarily occupy this country unjustly, until it was made the 50th state of the United States, in 1960.

2. Iran-

Leader/Government (Kingdom/Republic): Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh (Republic of Iran)

Date of deposition:1953

Historical backdrop of deposition:

Operation Ajax was the CIA code-name for this coup d'etat, which forcefully removed the legitimately elected Prime Minister of Iran. What was the reason for this one, you may ask?!!!! O...I...L.....Oil, plain & simple. The Iranian Parliament, had just recently in 1951, approved a law which would nationalize Petroleum in Iran, therefore preventing special investment/interests groups, representing powerful foreign countries & financial conglomerates from exploiting this resource. And, of course this ticked off not only the U.S., but the boys from the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company. So, what do they do? The oh so classic divide-and-conquer political chess-move, which, unfortunately, works every single time that it's played. The CIA, along with British Intelligence incited rioting throughout Iran, by using Iranian nationals who were on the CIA & British intelligence payrolls, to act as communists, and staged attacks against high-ranked Shi'ite religious clerics, which obviously did not go well with the rest of the Shi'ite-dominated populace. This resulted in what the U.S. & U.K. had planned, the toppling of the government, and replacing it with Shah Mohammed Reza  Pahlev, a well-known go-along-to-get-along puppet/running-dog of the CIA.

3. The Congo-

Leader/Government (Kingdom/Republic): Patrice Lumumba/Democratic Republic of the Congo

Date of deposition: 1961

Historical backdrop of deposition:

The then President, Dwight D. Eisenhower, the hero of World War II, affectionately referred to as "Ike", basically said what President Barack Obama had said about Anwar Al-Awlaki some 50 years before, "I want him dead!!!". Lumumba had just very recently helped his country receive independence from their mother colonizer, Belgium. But, what Lumumba didn't realize is that independence can't be granted, it has to be taken. So, just because your country is free on paper, doesn't mean that you truly have freedom. And like, Mossadegh from Iran, Lumumba wanted to truly materialize freedom for his countrymen, which was a tremendous threat to both the geo-political/financial interests of not only Beligium, but also the U.S. This resulted in the infamous "Congo Crisis", in which future Congo leader Joseph Mobutu, was used to help topple Lumumba & his government, in exchange for the gift of Dictator of the Congo ever since. And, he, unlike Lumumba was more than comfortable with staying in his place. Lumumba was captured & executed by CIA operatives.

4. Nicaragua-

Leader/Government (Kingdom/Republic): The Sandinista Government (Republic of Nicaragua)

Date of deposition: 1990

Historical backdrop of deposition:

The Sandinista government was legitimately elected into power by the people of Nicaragua. But, this interfered with the interests of the U.S., because they wanted to control the political destiny of Latin America, staying true to the precepts of the Monroe Doctrine. So, what the U.S. does is support a rag-tag gang of drug-dealing gangsters, murderers, extortionists, and terrorists, known as the Contras, to eliminate the legitimate power held by the Sandinistas. The Contras agree to oust the Sandinistas, in exchange for allowance to smuggle drugs indiscriminately into the U.S. for profit, which increased the distribution of Cocaine & escalated the intensity of the drug-trade in the U.S. The conflict of the Contras vs. the Sandinistas had occurred for a whole decade, before the eventual deposition of the Sandinistas, at the behest of the U.S., with some high-ranked military officials, namely Oliver North, along with the CIA, doing the dirty work-This was a major incident that made the Iran-Contra what it was.

5. The Philippines-

Leader/Government (Kingdom/Republic): Ferdinand Marcos (Republic of the Philippines)

Date of Deposition: 1986

Historical backdrop of deposition:

Initially, Ferdinand Marcos was strongly supported by the United States, despite the fact that the Marcos regime was guilty of many Human-Rights violations, as well as squandering billions of its nation's domestic capital. Still, the U.S. supported the Philippines, mainly because of the military significant position of the Philippines in the Pacific. Basically, the Philippines served and still serves as on of many U.S. Naval satellite nations, that are used to monitor the Pacific Ocean. As political unrest in the Philippines, as a result of governmental corruption & mismanagement of monies in the country, the U.S. used its geo-political influence & military might to remove Marcos from power.

Much like the rest of these other leaders & regimes, Gaddafi & his regime were once completely supported by the U.S. But, as soon as he decided that he wanted to run his own country the way that he wanted to, as opposed to the way that the U.S. wanted him to run his country, then he became one of the many "Disposable-Rulers". These are individuals whom were either initially supported by the U.S., or were complete self-sufficient nations to begin with, and when they were deemed a threat to the interests of the U.S., they were quickly ousted from power. This is a timeless stratagem, to keep leaders & nations under the thumbs of the elite puppet-masters/king-makers.

There have been very few leaders & countries whom have told the U.S. to kick rocks; but, they've either been sanctioned into extreme poverty by the rest of the international-community, at the behest of the U.S., ousted by direct U.S. military force and/or various intelligence agencies that are the international hired goons of America (like the CIA for example), or intense geo-political deception, which would cause the people of these respective countries to turn on their own leaders & thus make the process of invasion/conquest a hell of a lot easier for the U.S. Thus is the true history of U.S. international relations: instead of being the bully-of-the-block, America has been the bully-of-the -planet for a very long time. 

From the Indian-Wars to the invasion of Iraq, the U.S. has always betrayed and slit the throats of those whom they once made as leaders, and replaced them with puppets. The U.S. has a very well-known habit of removing persons from power who either second-guess, or just rebuke the whims of America & replace them with those whom they are confident will be more submissive & obedient to them-When it comes to power from the perspective of the U.S. particularly, you're either a team-player (i.e. someone who only plays by their rules), or you're not gonna play at all.

The revolution is being televised as we speak:

All across this nation, from New York to Oakland, and the world, from London to Rome, the media has been paying much more attention to these recent "Occupy Wall Street" protests, which are becoming more and more popular, as they spread across the U.S. & the world-The people have realized that their governments have sacrificed their well-being, at the behest of these major money-making conglomerates which control our law-makers in our respective countries. And, quite frankly, the people are very tired of being screwed with no vaseline. It's truly time for an era of real change, not the bullshit change as promised by President Obama, but something real, which will really be of substantial benefit to all people, all around the world.

These huge companies, who really pull the strings in this world, hold politicians by the balls & by purse-strings, enacting the real policies which affect us from the shadows, while these yellow-bellied politicians perpetrate the fraud, as if they're truly representing the people; rather, in fact, they're loyalties only lie with those who are responsible for them attaining & keeping the illusion of power. These covert king-makers, some of whom are known, while the rest are unknown, are the true source of power in this world, which they give to whomever will gladly follow thier blueprint to manipulation of the masses.

However, there are people who've decided to say enough is enough. These are persons who've decided to participate & support the world-wide phenomenon known as the "Occupy Wall St." campaigns all across the planet. In major cities everywhere, this movement has been catching ground, as well as significant media attention. The 1%, who control everything, want to further tighten their grip on control of the 99% who have either a lot less than they do or nothing at all. But, in spite of the importance of this movement, the 1% has also released its back-up plan, in a monstrous effort to quell the peaceful protests all around the world: Law-Enforcement & Media, the double-edged sword of the 1% that's dangerously ever-sharp.

Both of Law-Enforcement & Media have been unleashed, like a hyena & a lion, that have not eaten in a week, to attack the efforts of these "Occupy Wall St." protesters, as if their a bunch of miscreant, derelict, unproductive nobody's, who are too lazy to find jobs, and are causing more harm than good. Well, what about all of the bailout monies which were distributed to all of these blue-chip companies, whom were allowed to spend the money of hard-working tax-payers anyway that the deemed fit, without governmental oversight accountability, or even regulation?!!! How has those bailouts helped to stabilize the economies of the world? Simple answer: It has not!!! In fact, the world economy is still fucked up & on life-support, barely holding on.

These protesters are being unfairly portrayed as troubble-makers. But, in fact they are well-aware of what's really going on and how the rest of us are pathetically third-eye blind. We, as Human beings, as people, as citizens of the world, seeing the bravery of those on the front-lines, risking life & limb, getting arrested, getting their asses whipped, need to really analyze what's happening, and open our eyes to the realities right in front of our faces. These protests are not just some out-of-work College-kids, or people on welfare, or unemplotment-These protesters out there are just like you & I, citizens, who just want to be treated as we all deserved to be treated, as Human beings with dignity & rights to life, liberty & property.

What these people are being brutalized & sent to jail for are some of the many similar things that people in the 50's, 60' & even 70's were fighting for-They're fighting for our humanity, that we not be treated as a stock-option or derivative, on the world market, that it be respected & honored. In short, if you happen to read this, you owe it to Allah, your Creator, yourself, your humanity, and your fellow man, to support these Occupy Wall St. protests, to the best of your ability. Don't allow the Media to entertain you for the rest of your life, keeping you hooked on TV, the internet, Facebook, Twitter, Cable, etc. while avoiding our Divine obligation to one another, to help make this world a better place for us, as well as those who will live on after us.
